Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic International Business Development & Strategy Consultant to architect and drive our global market entry and expansion initiatives. The ideal candidate is more than a relationship manager; they are a strategic advisor capable of developing robust business plans, conducting deep market analysis, and crafting data-driven go-to-market (GTM) strategies. You will be responsible for identifying and securing strategic partnerships, leading high-stakes international bids, and acting as a key representative of FANAP on the global stage. Success in this role requires a blend of top-tier analytical skills, exceptional communication, and a proven track record of navigating complex, cross-cultural business environments within major international corporations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business & Go-to-Market Planning:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify and prioritize target markets, segments, and opportunities.
- Develop detailed business cases, feasibility studies, and financial models to support market entry decisions.
- Author compelling business plans and go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new international ventures.
- Define clear KPIs and success metrics for all international initiatives.
2. Partnership & Alliance Management:
- Identify, qualify, and initiate contact with potential international strategic partners (including technology firms, system integrators, and distributors).
- Build and maintain long-term, C-level relationships with key stakeholders.
- Negotiate and finalize complex partnership agreements, MOUs, and joint venture contracts.
3. International Tenders & Bid Management:
- Lead the end-to-end process for international tenders (RFPs, RFQs), from identification to proposal submission.
- Project-manage cross-functional bid teams to ensure timely, compliant, and high-quality proposal delivery.
- Develop and manage project plans for international collaborations, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
4. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis:
- Continuously monitor the strategies, product portfolios, and market movements of key international competitors and potential partners.
- Provide insightful reports and strategic recommendations to senior management based on market trends and competitive landscape analysis.
5. Event Strategy & Global Representation:
- Plan and manage FANAP's participation in key international tech conferences and trade shows.
- Organize and lead strategic B2B meetings with potential clients and partners during events.
- Represent FANAP as a senior company ambassador, delivering powerful presentations and engaging with global industry leaders.
Qualifications & Experience
Mandatory Requirements:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- An MBA or a second advanced degree in Business Administration, International Business, or Marketing.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is essential. Additional languages are a plus.
- A minimum of 7+ years of proven experience in a senior role involving International Business Development, Corporate Strategy, or Strategic Partnerships within the IT/Software/Technology sector.
- Demonstrable, hands-on experience in:
- Writing comprehensive Business Plans and feasibility studies.
- Conducting market analysis and developing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies for international markets.
- Working within a major multinational corporation or a globally recognized consulting firm.
- Proven track record in at least three of the following: international partnership management, tender/bid management, event strategy, B2B sales, or international project management.
